SMARTENERGI CORP WAS PURPOSELY FOUNDED WITH EXCLUSIVE MANUFACTURING RIGHTS TO MASS PRODUCE AND DISTRIBUTE INNOVATIVE ENERGY STORAGE PRODUCTS THAT WOULD TRANSFORM VARIOUS INDUSTRIES.
SmartEnergi Corp was purposely founded with exclusive manufacturing rights to mass produce and distribute innovative energy storage products that would transform various industries, including, but not limited to consumer electronics, aerospace and defense, electric vehicles, and renewable energy deployment in the home, businesses and the grid. The key to SmartEnergi’s energy storage game changing innovation is the SE™ Technology Platform.
The SE™ Technology Platform include groundbreaking innovations in nanomaterial chemistry, new electrode manufacturing innovation, and multifunctional material innovations that exploits the extraordinary properties of our nanoscale conductive additive. These innovations allow us to manufacture both superior binderless electrodes and innovative enclosures/housings for energy storage products, the ‘next big thing’ to transform the energy storage industry.
The superior binderless electrodes and the innovative enclosures/housings enable both new and existing battery manufacturers to produce energy storage devices such as batteries with unprecedented capabilities. The SE™ Technology Platform is versatile because it allows us to produce better-quality binderless electrodes for both Li-ion and non Li-ion battery chemistries, and other energy storage devices, such as fuel cells, electrochromic devices and supercapacitors.

CO-FOUNDER AND CEO
Dr David Addie Noye
Co-Founder, CTO and Chairman
Dr. Noye has over 24 years of research, academic, industrial and manufacturing enterprise formation experiences. Dr. Noye has a Doctorate Degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Northern Iowa with speciality in Nanotechnology. Dr. Noye’s dissertation was in the synthesis of nanostructured materials, particularly carbon nanotubes. He has several inventions in the field of nanotechnology, including a method to improve the yield of carbon nanotubes, and a multifunctional material platform technology with applications in variety of industries, including consumer electronics, aerospace and defense. Dr Noye has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, MSc in Engineering Design, Post-Graduate Diploma in Production Management and Certificates In Tool Design.
Dr. David Noye has expertise in nanotechnology and advanced material synthesis, synthesis of innovative energy storage devices and testing of battery cells, as well as experience scaling manufacturing systems. As an Adjunct professor of Nanotechnology at Southern Polytechnic State University, he taught courses in nanomanufacturing, including manufacturing of nanoparticles/thin films and design of equipment for manufacturing at the nanoscale. His expertise in advanced manufacturing and lean manufacturing systems is critical to our manufacturing scaling efforts. He leads our product development and scaling of our manufacturing operations.
Dr Noye’s previous work experiences include positions as a Director of Nanotechnology Research at Georgia Aerospace Manufacturing Systems where he pioneered the nanotechnology program, Continuous Product & Process Improvement Engineer at John Deere, and as the Director of Engineering & Industrial Design Center of the GRATIS Foundation, where he led the nerve center for new product development and commercialization. At the GRATIS Foundation, he led various teams of engineers, designers, technicians, and interns to develop new products from concept through technical design, prototyping, production planning, tool design and manufacturing.
Co-Founder AND CEO
Daniel Kumi is a serial entrepreneur who has been involved in a series of new ventures in Silicon Valley over the past 13 years either as a founder or part of the founding/early team. His previous experience includes product development, operations and financial management, sales, and business development. He spent the last 9 years in sales and market development roles at Aspera, an innovative software development company, where he helped grow the company from a 4-person team with no revenues and no venture capital to a profitable company with over 130 employees and over 2000 customers. Daniel’s initial sales success in the media and entertainment, government/ defense, and life science markets were critical for Aspera’s explosive growth, and eventual sale to IBM in December 2013. He has a BS in Engineering, a BA in Economics and a Concentration in Public Policy from Swarthmore College, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley
