Dr. Noye over 24 years of research, academic, industrial and manufacturing enterprise formation experience. Dr. Noye has a Doctorate Degree in Industrial Technology from the University of Northern Iowa with a specialty in Nanotechnology. Dr. Noye’s dissertation was in the synthesis of nanostructured materials, particularly carbon nanotubes. He has several inventions in the field of nanotechnology, including a method to improve the yield of carbon nanotubes, and a multifunctional material platform technology with applications in variety of industries, including consumer electronics, aerospace, and defense. Dr. Noye has patent-pending for binderless coating manufacturing process for making electrodes for advanced batteries. Dr Noye has a BSc in Mechanical Engineering, MSc in Engineering Design, Post-Graduate Diploma in Production Management and Certificates In Tool Design.

Dr. David Noye has expertise in nanotechnology and advanced material synthesis, synthesis of innovative energy storage devices and testing of battery cells, as well as experience scaling manufacturing systems. As an Adjunct professor of Nanotechnology at Southern Polytechnic State University, he taught courses in nanomanufacturing, including manufacturing of nanoparticles/thin films and design of equipment for manufacturing at the nanoscale. His expertise in advanced manufacturing and lean manufacturing systems is critical to our manufacturing scaling efforts. He leads our product development and scaling of our manufacturing operations.

Dr Noye’s previous work experiences include positions as a Director of Nanotechnology Research at Georgia Aerospace Manufacturing Systems where he pioneered the nanotechnology program, Continuous Product & Process Improvement Engineer at John Deere, and as the Director of Engineering & Industrial Design Center of the GRATIS Foundation, where he led the nerve center for new product development and commercialization. At the GRATIS Foundation, he led various teams of engineers, designers, technicians, and interns to develop new products from concept through technical design, prototyping, production planning, tool design and manufacturing.
